Computational Analysis Identifies Phytochemical Candidate for Epstein–Barr Virus Inhibition

A study used computational methods to screen plant-derived compounds for their potential to inhibit the Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) BZLF1 gene. Among the identified candidates, imperatorin demonstrated the lowest binding energy and favorable pharmacokinetics, suggesting its potential for further investigation as an antiviral agent.
