Mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)-derived and umbilical cord blood (UCB)-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) were shown to enhance wound healing and minimize scar formation. The study used spatial transcriptomics to analyze the cellular effects of these EVs in mouse skin tissue.
