Japan Advances Automated iPS Cell Production for Regenerative Medicine
Kyoto University’s CiRA Foundation will begin automated production of induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells from patient’s own cells in April. This initiative aims to reduce costs and expand access to regenerative therapies, with plans to scale production significantly over the next decade.
