FDA Greenlights the First Anti-Aging Cellular Reprogramming Trial
Life Biosciences has won FDA clearance for the first human trial of an anti-aging approach that uses partial cellular reprogramming to try to restore function at the cellular level. The early study will test safety in eye diseases such as glaucoma and optic neuropathy, making it a key first step for a technology that has so far shown its biggest promise in preclinical research.
